Amravati Municipal Corporation’s (AMC) School at Waruda village in Maharashtra is teaching its students with the aid of Amazon’s Alexa. The voice assistant Alexa has become popular amongst the students after Amazon upgraded the software with an Indian accent. Pooling their one-time investment cost, school’s headmistress, Ms. Sushma Kapse and teacher, Mr. Amol Bhuyar has independently built a mannequin around Amazon’s Echo device, giving a face to Alexa.
