Emotix has secured USD 2.69 million in a fresh funding round. The round was led by Chiratae (formerly IDG Ventures India), Technology Venture Fund and Yournest India. The Mumbai-based educational robotics startup will use the fund towards company’s research and development requirements and expand its operations in the US. Emotix is the creator of Miko, a robot that can be used to engage, interact and ultimately educate the child.
