PlayShifu Raises USD 7 Million to Develop AR Educational Toys
PlayShifu has raised USD 7 million in a Series A round. Chiratae (formerly IDG Ventures India), Inventus Capital and BIF led the round. The company plans to use the fund to create engaging and immersive AR experiences for children that encourage early STEM learning. Founded in 2016, PlayShifu provides physical toys coupled with mobile devices for geography and STEM subjects to generate augmented-reality teaching experiences.
