Noon Academy, which claims itself to be ‘the social learning platform of 2m+ students’, recently raised USD 8.6 million in a series A funding round. The series A was led by investors like Raed Ventures and Saudi Technology Ventures. The company, started in 2013, began as test-prep platform, which has now become a freemium after its online-tutoring model became a hit.
